We offer only full care boarding which includes feeding the horse twice a day. This includes providing hay, Strategy grain and shavings to the stalls. By providing full care to the boarders, this allows each boarder to realize that his/her horse is being fed regularly, on time, and cared for professionally. The full care price for boarding in the barn is $400/month, in the paddock it’s $375/month. We will accommodate boarders whose horses may require a special diet and/or supplements.

- Carousel Acres provides lessons for ages 4 and up. The riders are taught the fundamentals of horsemanship. These fundamentals include: reining, grooming, care and overall management of the horses through planned exercises.
Trail rides at Carousel Acres. Trail rides consist of a warm up session in the arenas prior to venturing onto the trails in the pasture and surrounding areas in the community. One would experience the adventure of going through wooded areas and up and down ravines all while enjoying a smooth ride on the Peruvian horse. The cost is $25 per person for an hour of trail riding.

- Birthday Parties at Carousel Acres. Plan your child’s most unusual and exciting birthday party by riding well trained Peruvian horses. Compliment your party by using our gas grills to cook hotdogs and/or hamburgers. Tables are available under the covered arena. Bleachers are available for viewing your children enjoying the flavor of the old west. Enhance your party with a hay ride (link this to the hay rides section) for the kids. The birthday parties are scheduled for 2 hour increments. The horses are made available based on the number of children in attendance. The usual breakdown is 1 horse for every 3 to 4 children at the cost of $30 per horse per hour. There is a minimum of 2 horses per party required.

Carousel Acres is a large full service horse ranch facility, with a round pen, hot walker, groomed arena and several barns to choose from. We also have pasture available for those who prefer their horses remain outside. We also hold events in our arena such as drill team practice, private lessons, barrel races, and western pleasure.
